Trackmarks of a Makeup Junkie... OR Swatches of *Most* of the SN Lippies :)
I may have a teeeeeeensy addiction. There's 23 glosses (not including clear which i didn't swatch) and 4 lipsticks. Thanks to the rewards program I have 3 more in the mail so I'll have all but 2 glosses(ashley and sarrah) and 3 lipsticks. (decadent, classic, and sublime).
However do I choose? It all depends on my mood of course! I do have a few that i don't reach for very often but i have yet to find an SN lippie that looks bad on me. My lips are naturally a pale rosey pink and my skintone is slightly warm neutral.
-My everyday subtle and girly shades are gold blush and berry crush
-My earthtone shades are birthday suit and jaybird
-My dramatic lippie shades are the lipsticks and i recently discovered the ever-so-gorgeous rapture/seedy combo that is sophisticated glamour on my lips
-With peachy clothing i wear peachy lipsticks- foreplay, darling, toffee, sherry
-And of course- some days, you just want to go RED (hotblooded and soon celebration)
-Some colors are better depending on the season (Rhonda and the pinks-pout, damsel, breathless- are gorgeous colors for spring). I haven't had a summer with SN yet so I'm sure I'll discover many that i don't wear often are GREAT with a tan.
I almost order samples of lippies from another company and then mentally smacked myself and said "you do NOT need another lippie!" :)

I really like the look of Birthday Suit, but there's a good chance that it won't show up on me.
Your coloring is dark so the lipstick would probably be the BEST. I think colors like birthday suit and jaybird would show up but they wouldn't LOOK like you were wearing a color since they're YLBB colors anyway. They'd just make your lips darker. Some people with medium to dark skin feel that birthday suit is just too brown from them though. Jaybird has more red.
You might be surprised by berry crush- it's an opaque gloss not a sheer one, your lips don't show through. It's a bit of a metallic sheen-i don't think it photographed very well. I don't know that a metallic sheen would be the best color for you but it probably would show up. It might wash you out though which i'm sure is not what you're going for. There are only a few like that. Breathless and infatuation are the other two that are somewhere betweena lipstick and a gloss IIRC.
The pinks (Ashley and damsel) should show up on you and obviously hotblooded (red)
Mulberry spice looks good on olive to tan complexions but is definitely a plum-y color.
My new sophisticated obsession color is rapture with seedy layered overtop and that would show on you.
At least with silk naturals you can return anything that doesn't work for you. Must be a bummer trying to figure out what will show up and what won't. Do you prefer lipsticks or glosses (there's a whole thread on MMM about naturals lipsticks right now. I think the title is looking for a pink lipstick but there's a list posted by traci of ALL the natural lipsticks out there.)
Mulberry Spice and Hotblooded are in my cart right now. It looks like Karen might be releasing another wave of MOAC soon so I'll hold off ordering until I see the new release.
